Software
ES-Consult uses Finite Element software from
ALGOR.
FORTRAN90 as well as CLEARWIN+ compilers from
SALFORD Software Ltd.
Additionally we use MATLAB
and
MathCad for computation,
visualization, etc.
In the Netlib
database can be found the source code of varios procedures, subroutines,
functions, etc., for numerical analysis.
LaTeX for Microsoft Windows.
Emacs for Microsoft Windows.
Cooperation Partners
ES-Consult has participated in the Øresund project, for example
as consultants and with supervision tasks for
Øresundskonsortiet and A/S Øresund.
ES-Consult has established a coorperation with
DampTech, a new small
company which holds a patent for a very flexible and intelligent device for installation
in structures to reduce damages during for instance
earthquakes.
We have performed design calculations of a steel safety barrier for
Blue Systems.
ES-Consult coorperates with the
Danish Standard Association, with for instance the work with maintenance
etc. of standards.
An employe in ES-Consult has researched in cross section deformations in
thinwalled beams. He supplies technical assistance to
Haironville who produces thin-gauge structures.
The director of ES-Consult has a visiting professor position at University College London.
ES-Consult has and has had a good coorperation with
Erik K. Jørgensen A/S and NIRAS.
We also have a close coorperation with our sister company
AEC Rådgivende Ingeniører A/S, a concrete specialist company. In 2001 AEC was taken over by NIRAS.
Research Projects
Measurement Equipment
ES-Consult has at it's disposal a digital tri-axial accelerometer. The accelerometer is supplied by the American manufacturer
Summit Instruments.
